Eileen Gatchalian is a graduate from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography (Focus in Urban Planning) and has over 5 years of hands on experience in social media marketing, writing and content creation.


Eileen has founded and scaled two high performing digital e-commerce brands, Espoir Collective (formerly known as Espoir Beauty Bar/Espoir Lashes) and Ex's Tears Skincare, leveraging organic social media growth and influencer marketing to increase brand recognition and drive sales.


Additionally, she has built a personal brand on TikTok, gaining firsthand experience as a content creator and further strengthening her understanding of audience engagement, virality and brand collaboration from both the influencer and brand perspectives.


Espoir Collective

The Brand Evolution


Launched originally as Espoir Lashes, focusing mainly on luxury false lashes.


Later rebranded to Espoir Beauty Bar as the product line expanded to beauty tools such as makeup brushes.


Final stage, Espoir Collective, a broader lifestyle and beauty brand.


Before ending the business, Espoir was able to amass 180,000+ Instagram followers through organic social media strategy, influencer marketing and direct-to-consumer sales via Shopify.

Ex’s Tears Skincare


Ex’s Tears Skincare offered a triple threat trio of potent, high-performance serums designed to address various skincare needs.


They released 3 skincare serums, a Hyaluronic Acid Serum that helped hydrate and plump the skin, a Vitamin C Serum that brightened and evened out skin tone by reducing dark spots on the face and finally a Retinol Serum that smoothed out fine lines and overall improved skin texture.


Ex's Tears built a strong niche community through storytelling, influencer marketing and consistent branding.

TikTok Content Creator


Built a personal brand as a fashion and lifestyle content creator, collaborating with brands such as Revolve, SHEIN, Princess Polly, White Fox Boutique, Pretty Little Thing and King of Christmas.


Created viral video content, leveraging trends and strong visual storytelling to reach millions of views and high engagement.


Gained firsthand experience with influencer-brand collaborations, enabling a strong understanding of both creator and brand perspectives.
