It all started with a breakup and a breakout.

Years ago, I found out my then boyfriend had cheated on me while on vacation. When I confronted him, his excuse hit harder than the betrayal itself. He claimed he was no longer attracted to me because I’d developed a mild case of acne. Harsh, right?

After we parted ways, the stress took a toll on my skin and the mild acne quickly escalated into stubborn cystic breakouts. To try and forget about him and move on, I decided to pick up a hobby and became obsessed with skincare. I started experimenting with ingredients and making DIY products to try and restore my skin back to "normal.” As my skin cleared and my confidence returned, friends and family began asking for my secret. I shared the serums that had worked wonders for me and soon after, word spread. What started as a personal project grew into a small business. I invested in a liquid filling machine, perfected my formulas and launched my own line of serums designed to support others on their skincare journeys.

Around that time, as luck (and irony) would have it, my ex reappeared suddenly very interested again. And that’s when the name Ex’s Tears was born. It’s a nod to resilience, self-care and that sweet moment when you glow up for yourself and not for anyone else.
